Pikit integrates with Stripe for payment processing. Learn how to set up payments, process transactions, and manage billing.
Stripe Integration
Pikit uses Stripe as its payment processor. You'll need to connect your Stripe account to accept payments through the platform.
Setting Up Stripe
- Navigate to Business Setup > Payment Processing
- Connect your Stripe account
- Complete the Stripe connection process
- Verify your payment settings
Stripe Express Accounts
Pikit supports Stripe Express account connections. This allows you to connect your Stripe Express account for payment processing.
Supported Payment Methods
Through Stripe, you can accept:
- Credit cards
- Debit cards
- Digital wallets (as supported by Stripe)
The specific payment methods available depend on your Stripe account configuration and location.
Payment Intents
Pikit uses Stripe Payment Intents for processing payments. Payment intents are created when:
- Clients book appointments through the widget and choose to pay
- You process payments manually for appointments
- Subscription payments are processed
Payment Intent Flow
When a payment is initiated, the system creates a payment intent with Stripe. The client completes the payment through Stripe's secure payment interface, and the system processes the result.
Online Booking Payments
Clients can pay for appointments when booking through your online booking widget. The payment is processed securely through Stripe before the appointment is confirmed.
Widget Payment Processing
When enabled, the booking widget can collect payment during the booking process. Payment is processed through Stripe before the appointment is finalized.
Subscriptions & Plans
Pikit offers subscription plans for your account. Subscription payments are processed through Stripe.
Managing Subscriptions
You can view and manage your subscription in your profile settings. Subscription plans may include different features and limits based on your selected plan.
Trial Periods
Trial periods may be available for new accounts. You can activate a trial period through your account settings.
Billing History
View your billing history and payment records in your account settings. This includes subscription payments and transaction records.
Security
Payment processing is handled securely through Stripe. Pikit does not store or process credit card information directly. Transactions are processed through Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure.
